getting paid enough to "live off of" is very subjective, and therefor hard to determine pro status from.

the way I see it is, does your SKI SPONSOR, (not any other sponsors) list you on their PRO team? or as an AM? I know many companies don't make a very clear distinction, but they should, and the ones who do, well, then you know.

And for the record, a lot of truly Pro skiers still have to work other jobs in the summer or even year round, making a living off of skiing is nearly impossible.

He lives a very stripped lifestyle so yes, you can live for 8 grand a year. Hell I know homies who live in an ill cabin up in Guardsman for 250 a month for rent. You just have to be set without living with conveniences like internet/cable and also running water during the winter months.

It all depends if you're a big pussy that needs to jerk off to internet porn or care more about skiing untouched perfect pow runs next door.

Why is this even a discussion? The answer is in the name! Pro is short for professional. Being a professional at anything means that its your main source of income- its what your livelihood is currently based off. So the fact that all you kids, not you including who I quoted of course, are speculating on someone's finances that you have never known is absurd.

Here's a simple solution to the problem...

Whoever thinks they know or speculate on what The Meat's financial situation currently is should fuck themselves with AIDS infested needles because you're all ripping shit out of your asses and don't have enough investment in your own lives to not act like a jackasses. Sorry if that was absurd but its required for a thread that's equally as absurd.

just think of $8,000 in your hand on november 1st, and you have to make it last until halloween. and your only objective is to ski as much as you can and produce entertaining content. do you think you can do it? i know people dont get their whole contracts up front but humor me on this, andy says 8k a year is a pro, what could you do with that much in a year.
