He might not have a company, but having a name behind your edits can make them seem a lot cleaner. It can be a simple as the crew you ride with all the time.
That said we really cant get a name for you, it has to be personal on some level, even if its just something you think is funny.
Enlighten me on what kind of work you're doing. Who are some of your bigger clients? How many people are employed at you're offices?
The fact that you used the word "edit" leads me to believe you are shooting your friends skiing. Not doing any client based work. You don't need a name. If you want one, come up with it yourself and realize in a year how armature, and frankly ridiculous it sounds to use a company name with your films.
Just credit yourself in the beginning or end of your work. That should do just fine.
I know I'm not a professional but I like to think my edits are good (won an award/claim) and me and my friend came up with "realm productions". I just put it at the end of my edits/films.
Splice started with "Wanna Sponzorz from Splice and we will hang around with yaz and film ya do sick tricks yo in the NE area?" haha I remember that dread full day... -_-
