Looks cool, but that would be super annoying for me b/c I never actually grip the stick like a ski pole, I just hold the top.

Stick shift is the best though.

I would get a wooden rod that the grip fit on, drill a hole in the other end and thread it on..

I feel like the actual metal rod that your current shift-grip resides on is very close to the width of a pole, and you could probably just jam it on there. If it is too small, just wrap some tape around the end of the rod and then cram the grip on?

I did this first. Here's how to do it properly.

Find the threaded size of your shifter. Internet is a great resource. Then go hit up your local hardware store, find the hex nut of the same threaded pattern. Tack weld it onto the end of your ski pole. Screw it on like a baller.

I've always wanted to get like a chrome skull shifrt knob for my car. i have a maroon outback, with a sticker on the back that says "I <3 cats" so the skull would go along with that really well

Really want to do this to my Subie..Sadly all my poles are either line or bike griped and so I do not want to look like a ken block wannbe. Guess it's time to go to a swap meet and look for cheap poles

the way i did this a while back was to put a dowel in the grip, then drill out the dowel to the shifter screw size and simply screw it on.

I was not expecting that, props to you. I drove a truck with a beer tap for a shiter and it sucked when you went to shift but looked cool as hell.


might have to do this to my dads truck its an auto but same concept.
