What the hell? Just test it. It's not going to burn you if only have your hand in the water for a second.

Put your hand through the water really quick. Or turn it off. Are you retarded?

I have no idea, we have flow limiters at my house so it doesn't happen
but I think ut would be fine in a big apartment complex

When you flush the toilet a mass amount of cold water leaves the supply, leaving only hot water to come out of the shower. This only lasts a short amount of time usually.

Carefully place your penis under the scalding stream of water. Only way I do it

so it should be okay now? my whole apartment is so full of steam its like the shower water is literally boiling. ive heard that even a milisecond of contact with boiling water can cause burns, but i cant turn it off cause the shower stream is spraying over the top of the faucet/knobs...

clearly you need to get a bunch of ice and put it in the shower to cool everything down

so i put on an oven mitt and wrapped the oven mitt in seran(?) wrap to try and turn the knob off but i couldnt get a grip on the knob. some water splashed on my wrist and lets just say its really, really fucking hot guys. i think something is wrong with my shower, i mean im not a total idiot but the water is definitely way hotter than it should be.
should i really call the fire department?

Well fuck i typed up a big paragraph explaining how this is a real thing. Happens all the time at my rents house, just gotta jump out in time not to get burned. I've built up an awareness so I know when someone accidentally flushes while im in the shower.
And the water is incredibly hot, it'll burn your skin so there is really no way to sack up and take it.

um, earth to meekus, i obviously tried that. the fireman had to use a monkey wrench type thing to twist my knob. the heat regulator valve broke internally so the water coming out was super fucking hot and the knob was super tight, i couldnt have possibly turned it off.
