i loved last years arvs but i think im going with motherships this year.. flites are flexier than the arvs.. other than that, its a matter of graphic favorites

Moship TI was rated as possibly the best fat twin ever made... but your call on that one. I haven't skiied either.

The ARV's are suprisingly light and have a really good swing weight.

The construction was changed a whole bunch from last year to make it one of the best Twins out there.

New Shit:

-Thermally stable ABS sidewalls. (Improvement over last years P-Tex)
-Chip resistant nylon topsheet.
-Built in a new factory in Europe. Solving all durability and delam issues.
-Sidecut adjustment for a smoother turn.
-Sintered 2000 base.
-Carbon Fiber stringer to increase pop.

I bought the 185s and I'm super stoked on them.

But the Mo'ship TI's are damn good too.



But, you can always fall back on your degree in... Communications! Oh, dear Lord!

Maidens? He skis new-england.

Plus, the maiden isn't even in the same class of ski as the other two. Its basically a deep pow ski, not an all-mountain twin.

Although I do realize that the flites are more suited to all mountain over the TIs, there is still a difference in like 25 mm of waist.

I called Rossi and asked them; they said that the brakes were not too difficult to bend and I could do it without heat or anything.

I'm trying to get them for either 185 arvs or volk gotamas and the shop guy says that even bent, they won't fit. But I want them. How wide are the 175 Arv's waist?

they're 90, 185 arvs are 92

If you want to wait like a week I'll let you know how it goes...but i think it will definitely work, one way or another..worse comes to worse...get a blow torch

92 is fat, but it's still within the confines of reason. I plan to bend a pair of Axial 140s' brakes to fit my pistols' waist, and I think it's even wider.

I'm threatening to go brakeless. They'd be on 11 anyway and in powder brakes don't do shit. I don't want to pay 40 dollars more to get those damn brakes for the p14s

^They do SOMETHING, and having them there can't hurt... why not just bend them? I mean, unless your skis are 105mm waist or something.

^Gotamas are 105 underfoot. Arvs are a little skinnier though. I'm pretty sure I could bend them for the Armadas, volkls: No.

You cannot take the brakes off of the FKS bindings though, they are riveted in ( so you don't have to go through the pain when you're landing switch and your ski pops off the heel but remains in the toe and you drag it ripping out the brake and fliping you backwards).

If you get a blow torch I bet you could do it

The shop guy said he'd just mount them flat on the ski. Since gotamas are so wide they would just sit in the unengaged position all the time. I'll figure something out. I have to buy my skis before I start worrying about bindings anyway.
