End of the day, no matter what Line is getting there money worth even if they have to buy their athletes tickets. They could give two shits about having Windells pay them. They get their main concentrated demographic of younger teenagers (cause no matter how you look at it, kids spend the most on skis with their parents money) so they get to have their athletes show up and get the kids stoked. Which in turn, the kids all go buy Line's new skis for the following year so they can feel just like their favorite pros....
It is simple marketing and you guys all miss the big picture and think that a major company is stupid for not making windells pay them. If anything most companies in other industries would end up paying the place like windells in order to get that close to their target market and have that direct exposure.
