A new ski game

Hello! I've been working on this as a little side project over the summer. It's way better if you have a controller but you can play with the keyboard if you don't have one. Try it, there are plenty of bugs!

The 50-50 position, should be modified. nosepress and tailpress position should be possible too. ex: pressing "," or "." which can be used while 50-50'ing as well.

yeah, with a level i was playing before with no lag, tried to play it today on the same comp and the lag is ridiculous.

There should be a way to meld features together. So if say you have a down rail and a short rail making a donkey dick, you could select them and turn them into one rail. This would only work if they were touching.

All loaded levels are still laggy as shit. I've always had problems with tons of trees, but this lags with stuff that normally wouldn't be a problem. Kind of a bummer...

I suggested this to Malcolm before, here:

"Right now it just saves one set of position and rotation coordinates. It doesn't know how far away the other features are from its edges. It's a really good idea, it's just I would have to completely change the way the save code is made. Maybe one day when I'm a bit better coder haha"

But yeah, it's a really sick idea imo.

lag is still a problem for me on loaded levels, and also today the spawn location keeps getting messed up. for example, i was building a park and moved the box in front of the feature i was working on. after respawning there 3 or 4 times, it suddenly moved back to its starting location at the top of the hill. another time it randomly moved itself downhill and to the left so i started spawning on the side of a jump for some reason. anyone else having this issue?

yeah i think it would be cool if we could change the angle of the whole slope. right now it seems pretty steep, especially for rails.

yeah many times, just pop and land midway on the down and you can easily rotate a 4

yeah, it's really easy. just make sure you have the right amount of speed, and you should be totally good to rotate a 4.

Lag, sliders, rotation glitch and spawn point should all be fixed now but I want to make sure before updating the game with broken shit for the 100th time in a row. (The sliders and some of the rotations on old levels will still be messed up when you load them. But everything should save properly now)

If any of those things are messing up please let me know.

When we level edit, we should be able to just click on a certain spot of the ground and be able to adjust the hight and angles of the land. Then we could have hills, and bumps more like what is in the origional level

I think what we need is fencing, and like flags on the jumps, the map is so wide and vast, it would be nice to enclose a park to make it feel like an actual terrain park/slope style course. I feel like that is what is really missing from the personalization factor.

coloring of the spray paint on jumps and colors of jibs would be sick. maybe tents, like in the gnarshmallow game.

also if they added in some tubes and c-box/c-rails that'd be sweet.

round rails would be a great addition, and it would be nice if the bottoms of the landings were the same angle as the slope, so you dont have to sink half the thing below just to make the bottom touch all the way.
