it's insane that these days we land on mars, and 10 minutes later anyone on the internet can see pictures from the surface of mars.

yeah it blows my mind that i could screen cap those and get it to ns that fast, it physically landed like 16 mins ago..

louis armstrong and buzz lightyear must find this to be insane, considering how to see them walk on the sun, it was a black and white image that didn't even work properly at first.

Seems like lots of people don't realize how big of a deal this is for engineering. Landing a car-sized object on mars is a huge accomplishment for applying physics and math into a final product. Really excited to see what we find out about Mars, the possibilities are essentially endless.

Thats pretty neat. I think it would be funny if there actually was life there and they see this huge thing drop a car sized object from the sky and just fly away. They would be like wtf? haha

Or if it happened here on earth from another being!!!! that would be nuts

Just watch this it seem's like the engineers where high when designing the landing.
It is crazy all the little things that has to work perfectly for it to land safely, imagine all that could go wrong...

It's crazy to think that we've only been able to achieve flight for a little over 100 years. We've gone from flying a few hundred feet to landing on mars.

I'm not sure where I think it may have been CNN but I remember reading that their main goal is to install wifi, pretty sure that's why they built this thing.
