So I learned how to cork 10 on tramp today and I got them pretty clean. However when it comes to trying dub 10 I just have no idea how to throw it. I've heard people say that cork 10 is harder than dub 10, so I figured I should be able to get it, I just have no idea where to start. Legit answers get a bump of +K.
set it much harder, almost as if you're setting for a hard d spin 7. Set the first 7 super early and hard and then tuck into the last cork 3. practice just doing a cork 7 and then landing way on your back
this and doing cork 7 onto your back and flipping out is how my friend learned, very effective and helpful. I kind of suck at corks on tramps, but want to learn to do cork 10 or dub 10 soon.
it can but i think that as long as you come out of your corks like you do a backflip, the second will be easier. Instead of kinda looping out of the first 7
I just did a bunch of cork 7s to back and then started doing them lower and lower so I could almost start to get the roll over and kinda land half on my neck and it not hurt. Sounds kind of stupid but it helps you with feeling like you need to go straight back instead of penciling the second cork out. Took me like 5 months of trying them and just spinning another 7 during the second cork before one night I miraculously went straight back instead. They're actually alot easier to do than cork 10's if you're not to good at cork 10's, just a little scarier. Set up some mats if it's a narrow tramp just in case you get mad driftage cus that tends to happen, try one and see how it goes! Good luck
When i do dub 10 i throw cork 7 but as soon as i throw it i pull my knees into my chest and my shoulder drops a second time and i go over. this is me, the last one is dub 10.
just do like a hundred cork 7s to your back. imagine it in your head, and throw it just like you do it to your back, just a lot harder and you'll land. it took me like 3 tries to land one. i learned it with my friends throwmatting me, so if you have a mat then all the better.
When I learned to do it I just set it a little harder and down just a little bit more, once you get to 7 just make sure to stay tucked and try to dip your shoulder slightly and the cork 3 should come around. The 3 at the end feels pretty weird at first but after a couple tries you will probably get used to the feeling and be able to put it to your feet. I think my main problem was not having the height to get it around at first. I had to take half of the net off of my tramp and jump off the top of a ladder to get high enough to do doubles of any kind.
