T2i refurbished vs t3i new?

I was originally planning on getting a refurbished t2i but I've found out for £70(~$110) more I can get a t3i brand new, the tilty screen would be nice, but I doubt I'd use it enough to have it worth it, I'll mainly be using it for video doing followcams and using a tripod at head height, but I'll probably be taking a lot of photos from different angles, so they really cancel out, so is it worth it to have a new one with a warranty(off ebay) for £70 more?

Nah just get the refurb. T2i. It's really not worth it to have the adjustable screen unless your shooting over/under people a lot (Concerts, Low-Angle skate shots, etc.) Besides, you can install Magic Lanter on the T2i and it will be far more useful than the T3i, which as far as I know isn't compatible with ML.

I'm pretty sure it's less compatible but still good, and thanks that's what I wanted to hear

T3i definetely works with ML and i think it is so worth it! you have a warranty and a tilt screen i have the T3i and the tilt screen is so useful especially when filming anything! its the best! and the T3i has a little more sturdiness to it than the small t2i you should definetely go into the camera store and look at both of them and compare which one feels better to you

Either way you're spending a lot of money, so In the long run you might as well pay a bit extra to get a better camera that'll last longer, considering it's brand new and not refurbished

well doesnt the refurbished one come with a warranty? most all of canons cameras do and you would think especially if refurbished, because it technically is supposed to be as good a new with very minor scratches here and there shouldnt be anything major? but hes got a point about the money, dont think about it when your making your decision or youll regret it later, just save up the extra and do not! get the 18-55 mm its not worth it, im looking to sell mine pretty sure so i can get what i shouldve in the first place and that is the tokina 17-50mm, but if you really are wanting the 18-55mm just hit me up and ill give you a good deal.
