hmm for me te perfect boyfriend would have to be at least two inches taller than me and considerably larger, has messy short dark hair, has expressive eyes and a great smile and who takes care of himself and is fit. He has to be laid back and fit, who shares a similar sense of humor to myself. Someone who has hobbies and passions and who apprectiates my own. Someone who is easy to talk to and can make me smile who isnt ever awkward with me. Confidence is really attractive as well. Someone who doesnt mind laying in bed all day with me cuddling and watching Futurama is a must too

this whole thread seems ridiculous. if people start having lists of what needs to be "met" in their better half... there is going to be some people dying alone.

part of having a good relationship is taking good with bad and adapting to situations. Its fucking bizarre if you have a bf/gf that you never have issues with... you just become that creepy robot couple.

it is healthy to make compromises in life when it comes to loved ones, no one is perfect.

I think a lot of you are misunderstanding what the purpose of this thread is. It's not "I will only date boys that have these exact qualities and match these exact expectations", it's "This is a list of ideal qualities and expectations that my boyfriend in a perfect world would have/meet." WOULD have. It's not realistic. It's a fantasy boyfriend. That's why the thread title is "The perfect boyfriend".

apparently I didn't make it obvious enough that the list I made is the guy I'm really into (temporarily on the other side of the world from). But yeah, my list, I'm sort of dating that guy...


Aside from that, I think it's good to have certain standards for things you know are deal breakers. For me, if a dude is racist, I just need to say no. I can't do it anymore. I've tried, it just does not work. The rest of the list sort of comes with the type of person you meet living in a ski town. I'd say at least half the guys in ski towns fit my list (aside from the light eyes thing which I just like, but isn't a requirement). And considering I have 7 to 1 odds, It's really easy to fit into my list.

Why does everyone complain about lists and all? Who cares if they're difficult? Let them do their own thing.. You do yours and mind your own business IMO.

I'm 20 years old and have never had a girlfriend.. Not at all because I can't get one, but because I have a list of my own

Perfect boyfriend

Must be over 6'2 and not skinny but not too fit, capable of growing scruff on hair to make me feel like we're wild and adventurous. Must be better at most things than me such as (frisbee golf, slacklining, skating, video games, and also skiing I won't ski with you if i'm better). Really relaxed but responsible, must love smoking weed with me but doesn't consider it a need. Must eat well, I have celiacs so I eat very healthy and gross food is just really a turn off for me. Have own friends that you can hang out with and don't constantly need me around. Must understand my love for knitting, kittens, crocheting, tea, music, video games, skiing, and some other girly things. Must be very intellectual because I'm smart as fuck and I like to talk about things I value or my perception of the world. and last but not least must be a cuddler because I will cuddle the fuck out of your face.
