This thread is where you can post your favourite place to go to in the world. Or if you haven't been there post it anyway. Post pictures where it is whatever.

I've always wanted to longboard in the park there! I actually don't like metal and stuff like that anymore. I just went with a ton of my friends. Whether you like the music or not they're always fun, jumping around in the crowd with everyone was awesome.

sugarbush, vt. two places.

1. if you going to the top of the heaven's gate chair and then climbing up that last little bit to the very peak. get to see for so far and its awesome. not as good now that they cut the path from jester, but oh well.

2. off the castle rock chair if you start skiing over to middle earth theres a little opening to the right that you can ski down that ends on a kind of over-hanging cliff type thing. its nice and quiet and you can hang out and see the rest of that side of the resort from there and its just neat.

i'm tellin y'alls, but keep it on the dl if you ever go to find it.

Keystone Village is pretty cool, I really like the Shenandoah area of VA too. Very pretty, so glad to be living there this fall. Also countless places I've hiked to in the Cascades, many glacier fed lakes that would blow you away.

Such a fun place to cruise around. theres a couple hill that are so fun over by the Peerless pool. Just gotta find the nice paved roads. But i guess I've never been one for moshing.

we totally considered it once we found out we couldn't drive there, but we only had 2 night in bocas booked so it didnt seem worth the bus fare, which was actually a lot more expensive, like $60 each way.(from cahuita CR) That may have included the boat too, but still too expensive. Plus we didn't want to just leave the car at the bus station, or anywhere else for that matter. I'd love to try again someday though.

School, Virginia Wesleyan College. I'm going to be living about an hour from the actual national park (VA beach) but I'm hoping to get out to Shenandoah to do some longboarding because some of the hills there look pretty sick.

gotcha. yea if you can make it up to skyline drive theres a shitload of hills up there for cycling which could definitely work for longboarding. also check out luray and skyline caverns. those things are cool as shit.

As far as I have traveled I think the San Juans is my favorite place to be.

Big mountains, lots of places to explore, and most importantly NO PEOPLE

Northern NM is also up there. Near Abiquiu and the CDT. You don't get many hikers or tourists around there which is REALLY nice.

The great thing is I'm right between the San Juans and Northern NM! Pagosa is my favorite place on earth right now

I've been up the skyline drive before, it's pretty cool. Only problem is it's probably patrolled by park rangers who would frown very dearly upon gnar shreddage.

It's the Canadian way of spelling it, just like we spell color like "colour". On my computer right now it has the first "color" underlined in red as an error. I didn't spell it wrong I spelt it like us Canadians spell it, but anyways, here is another favourite of mine:

It is famous for its wineries and vineyards and is the closest thing to a desert in Canada along with the Badlands in Alberta.

Yeah I used to run the X-Country invitational there every year, and saw a bunch of spots that looked sick. I board the bike path between LG and Glens Falls a lot too.(Another favorite place)

I'm not into it either, I was just jumping up and down with the rest of the crowd. The pit there was really scary. This is a video I took of one with my phone. haha

It's hard to choose just by looking. If you really love a place it's because you are somehow rooted to it. For me it's Corsica but there's no doubt the world is stuffed with amazing stunning places !

I was scrolling through quickly and saw your post about the San Juans and thought of the island and replied then I looked back at the pictures and realized it was about the range in CO. never been there although it would be awesome.

favourite is 'british' english....canada is still technically ruled by the crown so they use those spellings (colour, etc.)
