Whats up NS, I know this is a long shot, buuuuuut why not toss this up here. If you wanna trade whips, Im looking for a 5 or 6 speed and it has to be 4x4 or AWD, so car, truck, wagon, SUV, Jeep, whatever, hit me with what you have!
So I have a 2001.5 B5.5 4Motion(AWD/Quattro) Passat Wagon. Its the GLX model meaning its loaded to the teeth for the year. 2.8L V6 with 5speed auto trans with tiptronic. Heated leather seats, moonroof, upgraded stereo with hookups for ipod, droid, usb ect in the center console BUMMMP, heated power folding mirrors, 20% tints all the way around, 5000K HIDs, LED lighting and its ready for you thule/yakima setup!
It has 150xxx miles on it. Within the past 30,000 miles it has had a new timing belt, waterpump and all rollers and tensioners replaced, new serpintine belt, new cam plugs and valve cover gaskets, fuel pump, plugs and wires. Two new flex pipes on the exhaust. New windshield. ALL fluids were changed including the diffs, transmission, T-case, brake fluid, power steering fluid. New slotted and vented rear rotors PBR delux pads 4 new tires within the past 10k miles with road hazard plan on them.
The weak point in the 4motion cars and most auto A4/A6/S4/Allroads are the transmissions, more specifically the torque converter. I had mine replaced with the stronger, updated design. At this time my trans was taken apart and completely looked over and cleaned, it is in TIP TOP SHAPE now! My engine also had the head pulled to check the cyclinder and vavles, and they were in great shape. I was told, and Id agree, they look as if the car had less than 50,000 miles!
The trans work along with other little things was alone a $2000 bill, not to mention that the timing belt and water pump are already done.
The only thing you need to worry about in the next say 50,000 miles are oil changes and front brake pads within the next 20,000 miles! She is ready for a road trip!!!
I have always used VW spec 502 mobil 1 5w-40 oil too!
Im open to trades as stated above, if you are seriously interested please PM me!
