I've been in a similar pickle but I have a feeling we're not in the same boat.
this spring after ski season wrapped up I started going ham on my tramp a lot. About a week after that, I kept awakening in the early hours of the morning due to back pain, it really sucked. I would either just wake up at 4am and do stuff or pop like 3 melatonin and doze off.
after some physio it was determined that all I had to do was start stretching by back before bedtime and I would be fine.
so I know your pain kind of but not really. go to a doctor, it could be an easy fix or maybe you need some serious help.
