I am looking in to buying the salomon twenty twelves or rocker2 92’s, should I get a 163 or 171. I have been skiing for 13 years on 150’s but they feel extremely short.
ALso, the salomon twenty twelves are nearly gone and at 250 for 171’s i’m thinking of buying them now, however, I have never demoed theses skis and probably won’t be able to. Also is their a difference between the 2012’s and rocker 2 92’s for this year?
I went from a 160 to a 183 and it feels weird at first but I got used to it, if you prefer smaller skis tho go for the 163, but the 171 would probably last you longer
For starters, how old are you? 13 years on 150s? You must've stopped growing a long time ago. Bout time you got some skis that fit you. I'm 5'7 and I ride 166's for park and they are a little small on me. I ride rockered 184's for pow and they are a good size (rocker drastically reduces effective edge). If you're going to get a rockered ski, I'd say look between 171 and 181. For a camber ski, I'd say between 166 and 176.
honestly because youve been skiing for quite awhile i'd say go with a 176.
personally im 5'9" and 140 lbs and i skii on a on3p jeronimo 181, and i've been skiing for 13 years as well its hard to get used to at first but trust me its much better imo, but up to what youre comfortable with and want of course.
Depends on the kind of skiing your doing. If your gonna be riding in pow then look for something in the high 170s to 180s. But if your just gonna ride park and groomers then 171s should work fine
