Camera damage?

Hey guys. I'm hoping to start doing a lot of filming this year but I'm worried about damaging my camera while doing it. I have a Canon T1i(500d). I will be doing moving shots and stationary. Is there something I can do to protect my camera from snow/water? Can you make something to protect it? Thanks

Your camera can more than handle a few pellets of snow, unless you're melting ice over it and wiping it in the snow for hours at a time, you'll be fine.

I've used my t2i in a raunchy blizzard as well as rain and never ran into issues. Just don't swap lenses in the rain or snow like a fool.

Keep aware of condensation. If you bring the camera from cold to warm, the water vapor in the air will condense on the cold camera, inside and out. Give it 30-60 min before you use it again once you bring it in from the cold. Either that or keep it cold.
