Cheap stylish clothing

I'm sure that this could be some form of repost, but hey I'll start a thread with the idea on my mind anyways.

What kind of clothing companies do you guys like, especially for the price. For example, A&F, Hollister can get pretty ridiculous at 30-40+ on anything, nonetheless it looks good and tends to be worth it. I do also like H&M, they are pretty cheap and stylish, so what companies have you found similar to H&M or even better than you personally like, that have a good balance of style and price?

value village or good will or other thrift stores. it takes perseverance but all my favorite pieces of clothing are from there. i got a really nice pair of timberland boat shoes in fairly good condition for 9 bucks just a couple weeks ago

its all personal preference, thats why anybody can drop their companies or opinions here, plus it was just a reference (about pricing), I only own like 1 or 2 things from them.

I have always thought hollister, American Eagle, A&F was strictly for fags and women..  So when i see a dude in that shit i assume he is GAY.

support ski brand, or whatever else your into, because if you don't buy that shit, they'll stop making it.  and it promotes our sports.

Hit up value village or any other big thrift store like that. I got this big place up the street called talize. Some of the stuff is new and some is used but they never put out worn shitty stuff. Probably 75% percent of  my clothes are from there no joke. They have the funniest tall Ts and you never know what other random shit you'll find. Every day is different and shit costs like a dollar.

Hit up outlet malls, as said above. Nice clothing isn't "gay," it's called being an adult and choosing to respect your body and dress yourself so that people don't immediately judge you and look down on you. And they will, if you look like a bum...

Skiing isn't a sport to most of you either, unless you compete. It's called a recreational activity, and it doesn't apply to the majority of your life unless you revolve around the industry (get paid from it, compete in major events, etc.). Looking good isn't a bad thing. There are plenty of skate companies that make button ups and nice fitting jeans that are dope, if you want to stay within this scene. Personally, I moved away from it because the quality doesn't compare to brands like Armani or Polo, and you can get cheap ass shit from outlet stores. and you don't have to look like a huge prep doing it either, you just look classier than the rest of them...

Anyway, I'm hyped up on caffeine and spewing thoughts. My b. Not trying to force my opinion on anyone, I'm just saying that you will probably be more comfortable with higher quality clothing than you would be with mediocre quality logo tees from ski companies.

he said you have to compete in major events for skiing to be a big part of your life. pretty sure most everyone on this site has skiing as a big part of their lives and few of us compete in "major" competitions. by that logic youre saying golf, skateboarding, running, biking, etc arent sports though most people would say all of these are sports

I guess I just associate sport with competition. I really don't think that most of the people on this site compete on a regular basis. I guess you could loosely use the term sport because you're competing against yourself, though. It's really not a huge deal in general, lol.
