Looks like it's time to take this discussion out of the Season 2 thread and into a new one.

I think it's going to be interesting to see more human vs human conflict but I seriously hope they keep the number of zombies per episode much higher than the second season. Just because the people are now fighting each other it doesn't mean that you can forget about the reason this show is so good to begin with...dead people!

Looking at the Andrea guards when she had em, they weren't able to turn on her cause she had those stiff rods around their necks and they couldn't turn and come back.

However, I see your point because Merle was pretty slow when he was trying to go at Daryl.

SERIOUSLY the people are retarded at zombie defence, but if they were better the show would not be interesting.

if there were a zombie apocalypse, 2 things i would focus on :

a) zombie proof clothing - ie use household screening from doors/windows wrapped in strips (for flexibility) around a leather motorcycle suit. boom, hockey helmet and you wont get bit. problem solved.
b)living on an island. seriously how does nobody think of this. zombies would just float around and never even come close.

you would be living virtually worry-free but it would make for horrible television.

yeah thats true, so you need a boat and the zombie clothes to make runs into a nearby little harbor town i guess. i think it would be worth it.

daryl is such a badass, that was the most realistic part of the show so far when he had to kill merle. being sad/uin denial for a minute before going ahead and doing what you need to do. perfect. finally, the show is satisfying me completely. i need a cigarette

the infinite lakes and rivers that make up ontario and quebec... i can think of a lot of larger islands with buildings that wont have many (or any) people on them, not to mention all the cottages on islands in the cottage country around here.

i guess that solution wouldnt work for everyone but it sure would for me haha

also in reference to that video posted up there; it actually encases the show as a drama pretty well and hopefully can make everyone appreciate the non-zombie aspect of this show.

Too heavy. Mobility would be limited. Leather > chainmail. Best case scenario, you could just get some crazy kevlar body suit.

I think glenn's proposal to maggie is another snippet of hope the show keeps putting into the situation. first it was lori's baby and now these two are getting married. I think this is an important theme. they need something to live for other than just surviving.

pretty meh season finale. they sure didn't leave me on the edge of my seat with a cliff hanger like they did in seasons 1 and 2. disappointing. i hope this show doesn't continue to fall off because i really want it to be awesome. first season was soooo fucking dope.

I'm honestly done with the show..they're committed to the prison with all the old Woodbury folks. The fact there was no showdown or battle at all was hella lame...it blew just like the rest of season 3

Where is the show going to go now? I liked the show when the small group was traveling place to place, it could end up another season of them in the prison, and be even worse than this season.
