Just realizing im a major noob when it comes to ski history

I just realized that im a major noob when it comes to ski history. this occurred when i discovered the origin of the term spin to win. been watching a lot of the old ninthward edits and what not. Any ways i guess im posting this cause i want to learn more! so anything you find interesting in the history of skiing, post it here! cheers :)

shane used fat skis long before focused, and i'm pretty sure the first snowmobile backflip was in high society.

Its been years since i've seen focused but i thought he used waterskis as the fat ski in it.

This is a blatant promotion on behalf of Powder but I too once felt as the creator of this thread did. Seriously man, pick up a copy of our 40th anniversary issue. If you don't learn something, I'll send you your money back personally.

It's $10 and covers four decades of the other skiing experience. It was eye opening to work on and hope it'll shed some light on What's Up.
