Hey everyone, post here what human sense (sight, smell, touch, taste, hearing) you would give up, then post the remaining sense that you would like to have enhanced.

mine:

I would give up touch and improve my sight (infrared or something :D)

I'd give up smell, cause if you still have taste then whatever. But I'd enhance sight. Think about it: your hand eye coordination would be amazing. Your reflexes while skiing, playing video games, sports. Maybe photographic memory could be included? It seems like sight would be a lot more useful

don't even get me started on the public transit system in Vienna. it's amazing, it runs so well, everywhere, so fast, subway, streetcars, the whole shebang.

I would give up smell and I would like to have better hearing.

There's nothing more frustrating than not being able to hear people and having to say pardon like 8 times. Also hearing things super well that other people don't even know exist would be sweet.

taste because it least influences how you observe. enhance either vision or hearing, i can't decide which.

i think some of you might be surprised by how much you would miss without being able to smell.

Also, i have trouble deciding between smell and taste, but i guess i'd go for losing smell - you can get used to the loss in taste and i guess having to taste the rotten milk with yesterdays expiration date and not noticing your body odor are the prices i'll have to pay for not completely losing the enjoy in tasting.

I'd improve either hearing (so i'd have awesome sonar vision for the dark) or vision (night/eagle vision or some shit) since improving taste would be ironically sad.
