Insane

Here is my longboard edit from last summer that I made with Mark Olchanyi and edited with Zander Tower (~~~ZANDERTOWER~)and i want to know what you guys think.

I am planning on filming a second one but with someone else because this kid just tore his ACL in three places, skiing in Switzerland. I will post it after I'm finished but I want some critique on what to work on in the future for the next edit.

Ridiculous

the footy is really good (creative angles and such). just a couple things

1. edit needs to be shorter or else it gets boring fast. you have to many filler shots or b-roll, take some of those out or shorten them a bunch. (the cars over the speed bump shot for example, way to long)

2. take out some of the unnecessary noise. like you guys talking for instance (it ruins the feel of the edit.)

3. the shots of you crashing are ok but should only be put in a few times. use only the best crash or 2 crashes

4. and lastly to help shorten the edit, use only the best shots you have and not the ones that are so-so.

really good though i was very impressed with the videographer and long boarding

thanks man, I'll keep shortness in mind, also remember this was a year ago and I've improved some, but I want to make a new edit with the same vibe and theme. +K to you.

But what bugged me was the focus aspect, i know some shots should be out of focus, but some were so far out and it just ruined it for me.

I found the fade to black after each shot to be pretty annoying. So maybe change up the transitions and don't use the same one each time. That way, each shot isn't so isolated from the next.

Re-edit I made of this recently, considering some of your critique and expirimenting with slow motion on After affects. It took me a long time. Enjoy.
