Recruiters of NS

Is anyone else on NS a recruiter? I have been working for about 3-4 months as a Specialty Pharmacy Recruiter for a friend of mine. Its been a good job so far out of school, placed a few people. But right now I have hit a fucking wall. Its been a week without any submitals and I cant seem to find anyone.

Anyone on NS a fellow recruiter? Looking for some tips on search strings, methods for finding people, etc.

People look for jobs
Employers look for qualified people to fill job openings
My understanding is recruiters help people and companies by matching job candidates to open positions.  This helps the job seeker find work, and the employer fill positions.

A good buddy of mine works as a recruiter for Ranstadt here in Halifax. If your job is similar to his then you are a third-party staffer. Businesses hire you to fill positional needs. Likewise people with specific skillsets come to you to make a job profile and you match people to positions. Where he works the companies looking to do the hiring pay him a certain percentage of the new hire's salary and he gets bonuses for how long the person remains employed there. Its a pretty treat gig if you're a netowrker/ socialite.

This is pretty spot on of my job. I dont work as much with candidates. I will try to find people a job if I have an opening for them, but usually my candidates are people that I find, I haven't had much success with people who come to me saying "find me a job!" Though I wish I could help those people the most. I mostly just try to fill open jobs of companies that hire us.


And @Applejuice how did I break the first two rules? Actually you did. By mentioning the name, you fuck.
