Wait, what? You do realize you're completely assuming that the bikers did something "annoying"... And even if they did, who cares? What many car drivers might think is dangerous, discourteous or annoying might be fine from a bikers' perspective and they're just an insecure, angry douchebag- as I've seen many times riding. The video shows nothing annoying to back that up aside from them trying to get him to pull over a few times and following him. That guy was 100% out of line, and I have no idea why you feel that they were somehow deserving of the driver trying to kill them.
Maybe you've never had someone try to run you off the road for something trivial? I certainly have. Shit sucks when you're out there unprotected and a car is trying to fuck you up because the driver decided you should die for whatever reason. So no. You're wrong simply because you can't do something to deserve getting ran off the road on your motorcycle. There is no reason for that. End of story.
That's like saying it's ok to bash someone's face in with a baseball bat for making an annoying post.
Shitty attitudes like this quote are a huge reason why I got rid of my bike. Everyone thinks they should be able to kill you if you annoy them and it's fucking bullshit.
That is hands down the dumbest fucking rationalization I've ever read.
Congrats, you're a fucking moron. Yeah, I should ride around in fear for my life at all times since the people around should have the ability to end my life if they don't like how I'm riding. Right.
Did you have to take classes to get so fucking retarded or were you just born that way?
Well I agree with riding attentively and defensively, but I mean come on. I'm talking about other people feeling like they have the right to kill me if I annoy them- which is completely unacceptable.
Then you really have to factor in how clueless people are. Example- there are many states that allow lane splitting, or driving on the lines between cars. I've done it legally ad had people fucking flip out on me, swerve at me, try to open their door in stopped traffic, etc- when what I was doing was perfectly legal and they just didn't understand that. In their mind I was being a dick and they're going to be the tough guy and put me in my place, and that's what I have aproblem with.
IMO bikers should be able to carry guns so that when car driving dickhead wannabe hardasses make them think they're going to die you can return the favor and see how they like it. People who don't ride just don't understand, and they never will.
Bill Nye: 1 Huck Norris: -9000
Huck, did you even watch the video?
Dude you do realize they were following him while another rider stopped to call the cops- when he pulled over at the end it's because he was being pulled over by the police, right? I realize they could have done it in a safer manner, but that guy was also slamming on the brakes, speeding, swerving, etc. etc. so what are you really going to do at that point and does it really matter once someone tries to kill you?
I agree they were not being safe riders in the least, but that's no excuse to kill someone.
And Bill.Nye, I know. I've taken several advenced performance rider training courses and have been riding streetbikes since I got my license at 16. I don't ride like that, but you never know when someone will just up and decide what you did was dickish and run you off the road for it. Shit man, I've literally just been merging 2-1 before and some antique asshole I was way in front of decided he wanted to be in front of me- so he almost forced me into a parked car to do it. People are just fucking assholes, and when they're in their cars they think they're invincible or judge dredd or something. So imo thinking that "they deserved it" is a slippery slope I don't want to go anywhere near. C'mon man, you guys are smart enough- don't be that guy.
