It's kind of like my mind just subconsciously files people's outward images into stereotypes. I catch myself thinking, I've seen someone like you before. They're based both on appearance as well as apparent demeanor.
A few types:
- clean, quiet, self-aware ... my personal favourite...these people know if they're getting in the way, they have a soft look on their face (usually), not disruptive, easily overlooked because of their normality
- quiet but unaware ...these people are like the type above but they do things that they think are quiet and unnoticeable but draw silent attention towards them, usually kind of goofy but not aware that they're goofy
- loud, clean, self-aware ...pretty much confidence but not nasty confidence. draws attention in more ways than by being loud with voice, for example wearing bright colours, up-to-date fashion, well-styled hair, the kind of people that you look at and either are attracted to or envious of something about them
I could think of more but it's kind of hard to put these thoughts into words. It's just something my brain does automatically, and I find it hard to keep track. Maybe I'll make a list one of these days and just carry it around like a bird-watching guide....
