I know a lot of people put their kids through vacation bibles school, christian youth programs and all kinds of stuff for free day care or the experience. It's sort of shitty to almost bribe kids to get there and then shove a bunch of shit down their throats. I could go play indoor soccer an extra night a week but then had to listen to a 20 minute devotional. Fuck that shit. Everyone's trying to get people to believe that shit when their young and defenseless.




As far as the people you stay completely on the side of I believe in jesus and that's my choice and I don't know why everyone hates on it. I'm cool with people believing whatever they want, but if I can drop .$02 here...


If I were to say that I believed that a goat named jamal rodriquez lll was planet hopping on his intergalactic segway when he hit a meteor and spill his cargo. His gargo contained Lettuce and glitter, and when it hit another planet suddenly it turned into dolphin people, but then the dolphin people took of their dolphin suits and became normal people and then they went to the see every thursday to worship the dophin spirits of their ancestors and prayed that flipper be put back on the air, blah blah blah.

If that's what I believe, go to church for, and tell people about, nobody's going to say "Well that's just great rusty. I don't believe that but you totally could be right and I think it's wonderful that you've invested so much time into something so completely realistic. I also think it's great that you've been telling your kids the same thing since they were born. We need more people like you out there. Also it's just fantastic that you tell me everyday that I'm wrong, an idiot, a sinner, and I'm going to davey jones locker with the bad sea people if I don't repent and pay my respects to the dolpin gods.

So that's pretty much why people don't say that about your belief in christianity. It's cool if you wanna believe whatever, but it's kind of ridiculous when people have to get bombarded with it left and right.

I don't believe in it because my brain works(well kind of sort of. She's still limpin along like an old car), please stop leaving pamphlets about how I need jesus, trying to get me to go to church, and for the love of the motherfuckin dolphin people, Please stop telling me that I'm going to hell unless I listen to you and that you're worried about me and you're doing this out of love.

ElGrato, please take a look at the article I send you, although I'm sure you will disagree with me, I believe the Bible is far different from a story created by one person. 40 or so authors contributed to the bible over 1600 years, all without any contradicting themes or verses. In addition, there are approximately 2000 prophecies in the Bible that have already been fulfilled.

When you really think about it, it seems like this entire generation of western youth are going to be atheistic. Like, religious youth are definitely becoming a minority in the US. I wonder what kind of effect this will have on the prosperity and livelihood of your country in the future.
