Clearly you need to put one on each side of the pool and try to jump from one to the other. Once you get it down, fill your pool with gators and try it again for primetime tv.

If you're super worried about hitting the bottom of the pool when you jump in, you could put a mattress at the bottom of it so its padded if you ever did go too deep.
