get a used hockey helmet, take the mask off and sticker it up.
Seriously though go to a preseason sale with your goggles and find one that fits well. Also bring a hat and headphones if you ski with either of those under your helmet .

i love it when people want the cheapest helmet available. we're talking about your head here! if a helmet is under $100 you might want to look at something else...

Giro Shiv's are only $40 on EVO right now. also look into the smith holt, smith holt park, smith maze, poc receptor bug, bern hardhat. all are solid helmet options.

Agreed, got a maze this season. Looks good, comfortable, and you can get it pretty cheap on amazon.
