Video suggestions and advice -- specifically college students please read!!!

What's up media & arts,

I have a day off of work today, so I got back to thinking about an idea I had this past school year, that never turned in to anything.

Basically the idea was that I would make a video showing all the cool and fun stuff we do out at college in one weekend, make it into an entertaining, sweet edit, and throw it up online.

It never ended up happening because I didn't plan it at all, finals were around the corner, and yada yada.

I'm thinking I want to try it this year, as it will be my last year of college. I'm thinking I want to make a goal though... --> to have the video put up on the home page of the college website, right around the time that kids are deciding what school they want to go to.

I don't go to a super big school or anything. It's only about 3500 kids, Western NY liberal arts school, etc... So i think this would be realistic if I talked to the right people in charge.

Basically I'm looking to NS to give me any ideas as to what I could put in this video. I'm thinking I would make it in the early spring on a nice sunny weekend, so there would be snow at the mountain but not back where school is. Here's what I have so far:

•Skiing at the mountain (obviously)
•Longboarding around Niagara Falls where the actual waterfall is
•Backyard ski session with some grilling action (we rent a house off campus)
•High dive at the indoor pool
•Buffalo skyzone indoor trampolines
•Slacklining & kayaking (I have a friend that does both)

So I have a LOT of action ideas there for one weekend, but I'm thinking I just need more usual/common activities...for instance, some lifestyle shots down at the Niagara gorge or something.

My biggest problem is that I can't see myself putting any drinking in there (maybe a minimal amount...but I'm thinking not).

So yeah, sparknotes:
Basically looking for any ideas and suggestions on how to make an awesome video portraying a weekend at college

Forgot to add -- I have an HV30 I'd use primarily, and a GoPro for a few shots just for fun.

You could get some shots of people throwing a frisbee around somewhere on campus as well. Film a BBQ somewhere on campus. Shots of people chilling around a bonfire with attractive girls.

A couple of friends wanted to help me put together a short film documenting our experiences as friends since we live in utah and go do crazy shit all the time. But to keep it short and simple i thought of some key elements to incorporate into whatever project would come of it.
Based off of what people have said in this thread, here's my input.
Make a short film, make it awesome. BBQ and hot girls are a must, but make sure you get people smiling and high five-ing each other. THen slacklining and kayaking, have a kayaker go under the slackliner! brilliant and profit making. Go hiking somewhere epic, nice view, nice spliff if you're into it, a couple beers, hot girls.. Rope swing! We're gonna go down to the corona arch and swing off that in moab, but if that's not at your disposal, there's gotta be one close by.

Here's another idea, go do entertaining activities (like mentioned above) film them like red bull would, then throw a bbq to celebrate your awesome times together, film that too. Intertwine the bbq shots of good times and hot girls into short and sweet segments of awesome activities.

basically a must for any good video pertaining to college life. many debates among my buddies on who to use for videos if we want to settle with a 6 or solid 7 or actually go try and find us a 9 or 10 for product shoots.

thanks for the advice everyone. any more advice is welcomed, and if not, hopefully i'll bump this thread in about 8 months with a video included.
