I never compared the punk era to any other era but im happy its gone. The gangster scene is also disappearing you dont see nearly as much hand signals and fake gun motions in edits as you use too. I like things fresh, punk was fresh at one time but it got old just like the gangster did. I like things how they are now, but as time progresses it too will also get old just like the others and a new era will be born.

I can see Edollo being the one to wear it.

But a rule of thumb for me is don't hop on the pro-fad bandwagon until I'm good enough to back it up.

Another fad that's big right now are cutoffs or vests. I just picked up a Jibberish vest the other day at a half off summer sale.

I still wear my magic suit with a tall tee and bandana. fuck being a trend whore, or buying new gear when what you've got is still good. spend your money on going skiing and enjoying it, rather than gear so you can be complimented on how sick your new outerwear is, that has seen 2 weeks of skiing before you replace it because the internet told you that you werent cool anymore.

I seriously have nothing against people that wear them, I'm just saying a lot People are doing it purely because pros are, when they probably made fun of people who did it 2 years ago. You actually fish, so you aren't staid to wear it outside of skiing.

Trends come, trends go and trends recycle.

The fashion industry is a great one to watch for this, everything comes back eventually... so truly nothing is a dying trend, perhaps just a hibernating one.

Studded belts were definitely the shit, and there was even a phase where dudes wearing hot pink was super in. Trends come and go every season, and usually have roughly a 3-year life from pros starting to pros starting something new.
