lets compile a list of dieing and dead trends in skiing and then argue about whether there on there way out or not. heres a few to start the list off

one pieces
studded belts

cameras with handles

i only say this because i personally dont like the whole rasta thing. i used to watch cr johnsons part in pop yer bottlez on mute because i hate sean paul so much. i feel like rasta is strong now but will die pretty soon like the gorilla steeze phase. tanner hall pretty much introduced both of those.

actually OP is right, its way more common to see a DSLR + glidecam then a handycam + handle

tall t's: i just dont see as many as a few years ago. theyll still be around for a while i think and tall stuff definitely isnt going anywhere
bandanas: ive been seeing a lot of baclavas lately and i think bandanas look stupid and make you look like a cowbow
one pieces: i think they are sick i just dont see them anywhere
studded belts: yes i saw a few people with them a while ago.
ski magazines: nobody cares as much about magazines
cameras with handles: im not a videographer so i could be wrong but i see a lot of those photo looking cameras instead
those hats with strings: could be, i just dont see many wearing them
those head bands with strings: i think thall used to wear these all the time
gorilla steeze: one person is doing it so that would fall under the category of dieing
suits with busy patterns: im talking about patterns like the magic suit etc. not patches of colours

2. just because you don't like it, or used to like it and don't does not mean it's out of style

4. just as many people buy ski mags If anything they are more popular

5. you mean camcorder instead of "camera with handle" or am I interpreting your stupidity wrong

6. "photo looking cameras" you mean DSLRs? They are more popular because they are generally more technologically advanced than camcorders, but you seem to be a camera noob so fuck it

My dad told me back in the 60's and 70's girls would ski in really tight ski jackets and pants instead of doing the super baggy look that is around now. Oh and since they didn't have helmets back then they would let their hair flow too.

It was a better time.

and i have no fucking idea what a hat with a string is and ive never heard of someone wearing a head band with strings

as a filmer who pays attention to this shit I would say that the handycam era has ended and (not counting gopros) most edits I see now were filmed with a DSLR (and most of the time combined with a glidecam)
