Canon's First Mirrorless Camera

Just saw this, looks kind of interesting, not really my style but this one has a video mode and stereo microphone even. could be kinda cool for all the photogs into mirrorles.

Their attempt to rival the 5n. Not a huge fan of the touch screen and AF for video its pretty pointless...

I think it's great for people who are in the market for a rebel but want something slightly smaller, or great as an accessory to an existing 7D / 5D kit.

On the other hand, it makes little sense as a compact camera system because most lenses will be as big as DSLR lenses, just like the NEX system. It makes sense with the 22mm kit, but I have a feeling every other lens will be significantly larger. 22mm is just the sweet spot if you have a 22mm flange distance.

What I find odd is that Canon hasn't made this mount large enough to fit a full frame sensor. I am convinced that the future of every DSLR is mirrorless, they might as well have bothered to make the mount future-proof.
