How to shorten the new line poles

as far as i know its pretty much the only way other than maybe blowtorching them lightly but then your fairly likely just to melt them . i would say undo the bolt and put the grip in some boiling water then jam the bottom of the grip in your door with the rest of the pole hanging and pull it off. then once you get the grip off mark how much your grip covers and work out from the mark how much shorter you want it to be and use a pipe cutter and cut it down and put the grip back on and put the bolt in and your jamming

Spray with lemon furniture polish every 5 min for a half hour and leave upside down to soak in between grip and pole, then try to twist them off

thanks for the advice.. it didnt work but the reason was i emailed line and they said you need a special tool

Im fairly sure line poles just use a couple of grub screws to attach the handles. You just need to untighten those and the handle will come off and you can cut them down to the size you need.

Look at the base of the grip. there should be 3 small set screws. Remove screws, twist grip off, cut pole. replace grip, re-screw screws, do future spins, get paid.
