Replying to Season in Europe

After I graduate from school next year, I am planning to go backpacking Europe for a year including spending a season working at a mountain in France, Switzerland or Austria.  I can speak French, but not a word or German.  I also have a UK passport so that should make working a lot easier.  I would like to be at a mountain with lots of big mountain and back country access, park is not too important.  I was just wondering if anyone had any advice on what mountain, what jobs and how to get them
