Im looking to get a new pair of skis next year.. I've found both of these skis around 300$ i live on east coast and ski like 98% park lol. id be getting 176s and if it matters I'm 5'10 140, and ski 65-70% rails, 30-35% jumps. any reviews/suggestions would be nice!!!

I have the AR7 and used it pretty much everyday last year here in Colorado. Its defiantly a allmnt park ski and would kill it out in the east coast. The only thing I have to say about it is in the deep snow days 5in+, its starts getting difficult to use but I suck in powder on skinny skis. At 86 underfoot, I know people who ski in powder no problem at that size.
I looked at the 4FRNT Switchblade and its pretty close related to the AR7. The SB is a tiny bit wider then the AR7. They are both tradtional camber. Both semi cap blend. both come in 176.
Looks like a wider turning radius for AR7 which is nice at high speeds. Also armada put carbon fiber stringers in their skis. It will only give a longer life on the camber of the ski without extra weight. Its sound like the the AR7 will be stiffer.
Switchblade 176cm 121/89/114 @17.5
AR7 176cm 119/86/113 @ 20.5
Personally I havent rode the switchblade but I'm sure someone here has and can give a better description of it. Unless you have to buy within the next day just wait til someone who know the switchblade will answer. If you have to buy it now I'd say go AR7 just from what I know and it'll kill the anything the east-coast can throw at you.

The Switchblades aren't as lively as the AR7, in fact they have quite a dead feel to them. Also I think the AR7 would be much more versatile outside the park, you could really use it as an all mountain ski even if you didn't ski park.

I say switchblades....they are pretty solid.. 4FRNT uses really solid race bases too. Plus the 1213 graphics are ill.
