Stupid text ads

Whats with the new underlining of certain words and adding hyperlinks to them? Keep ads off the fucking text, Are you guys getting paid for those ads? If you arent then they really suck. And the new Video rating system needs work. Sorry for the rant, just sayin.

I really don't know what you're talking about TBH. I didn't think we had anything like that on the site, but if you could show a screen shot that would be awesome.

Also, please elaborate more than 'new video rating system needs work'. That has zero explanation and I do not know what kind of work you think it needs!

Lots can be simply explained, and what can't I'm always stoked to hear feedback.

There are a lot of browser plugins that do this, you think you are downloading a legit tool bar and then you are stuck with all kinds of linked words and smiley ads.

But yeah, its likely something on your machine, we definitely don't use those types of ads

I guess your right, I have been trying to recreate this all day to show you guys but I cant do it. Must be me.

And Bishop, I was judging the new rating system for videos purely aesthetically, mechanically it works just fine. Sozz for the confusion.

Here we go, I guess its something called Text-Enchance. It turned the word start into a blue underlined hyperlink with an add attached to it as you can see in the screen cap.

also the word Free in your signature is making one of theese ads, clearly it an issue on my side of things. Any advice to get rid of this annoying plugin?


Edit: Fixed the issue, was an extension called deal-ply. All good now, thanks Admins/Mods.

What internet browser are you using?  See if it happens when you use a different browser.

delete/reinstall chrome after totally wiping out all traces of the previous copy.
