Really Trying To Get Into MF Doom

What's good guys, I just started scratching the surface of MF Doom's discography the other day and I really want to get into this guy. I know he did some shit with Madlib, who's one of my favorite producers, so Doom seems like a good artist to get into.

So, anywhere specific spot I should start at?

madvillainy is obviously a dope album. pretty much everything with stones throw (which I believe is the vast majority of his work). check out his work with KMD as well, his old group before he became Doom.

I honestly got pretty much his whole discography and it's awesome. I love Mm.. Food, Madvillainy is sick of course, and I also have all of the Special Herbs, which is the instrumentals. Quite an amazing artist to get into so good luck for you!

the fact that you have to try to get into his music is a bit of a red flag. If you truly like something getting into it should be relatively effortless.

If you like Madlib be sure to download Madvillainy! Probably my faveourite album together with Quasimoto's The Unseen. If you aren't familiar with Quas either you should check him out, seeing as it's actually Madlib. You might also want to download Mm... Food, this was the album that really got me into DOOM!
