I'm really sorry to do this, because I know there have been a lot of raft threads in the past. However, there is a bill in senate that is pretty hush hush, so maybe you should all check it out. It's not really a draft, more of a 'national service' thing. It effects everyone 18-26, chicks and dudes. basically if you arent a retard and you arent cripple, you arent exempt because they'll just stick you in community service.

i know one person who couldn't serve in the military just cuz of a concussion they once had in their life from when they were a kid. the person was normal too

OK I GOTTA CLEAR SOMTHING UP. THIS BILL WAS PROPOSED TO AN ANTI-WAR DEM FROM NY STATE. HE DOES NOT EXPECT IT TO PASS BECUASE IT IS SO RADICAL. HIS POINT IS TO MAKE PEOPLE REALIZE THAT IF YOU'RE GONNA HAVE A WAR RADICAL THINGS NEED TO HAPPEN.

This is a good example as to why it is stupid to look at Kerry's voting record and then rag on him. If this bill had not been so radical, it may very well have passed (if it was put out after Nov. 2 that is). there is alot of this in those bills that people dont know about. Kerry may have likes the general idea of a piticaluar bill but he didnt like some of its ontents, then he voted against it and people rag on him.
