i looked through his other videos, and this ones pretty good too. only thing i would say about this one is that the slow mo of the "make," was very distorted.

To be honest that would of been wayy beter if it was 2 minutes long. To me there seemed like quite a few mediocre shots.

There were definitely some sick shots, but I thought the grading was overkill and the lack of skate sounds bothered me.


Here's my favorite skate edit ever. Kinda follows the more traditional skate perception style but you gotta love the hitchcock zooms. Guess I'm a bigger fan of skate perception style edits.

I think that the filming was ok, but what really made that edit good was the skating. I think that OP's edit was more creative, and portrayed a different side of skating that not many people have seen/thought about.

I enjoyed it from a creative point of view and the skating was good, but when there is more than a tiny bit of slow-mo in skate edits it really grinds my gears.

well i dunno how you can compare the two. it was 1/6 the length of the other one and was probably shot in 1 or two days. but still a sweet video

god it is so nice to see a skate edit without a single fisheye shot


and Mike Blatt: I didn't see a single hitchcock zooms in that edit, was I not looking hard enough?
