Macbook Pro Resell value??

Hey Everyone. Considering upgrading to a newer, faster MBP sometime in the near future. I was wondering if anyone has any insight or experience as to what the market for a used one would be. What I have now and would be trying to sell is a 15 inch Macbook Pro with 4gbs of Ram and a 2.4ghz i5 processor. Im not really sure what to ask for when I do make the decision to sell. So if anyone has any idea , it would be greatly appreciated.

throw it up in bst and see what happens... i saw big_spence had one in there but it was pretty used for $300 i think?

If it's 2 years old and in good shape, you can get around $1000 for it, depending on what options you have on it.

you could probably get more, it all depends on the specs. I sold a 3yo mbp awhile ago for 900 bucks. I sold my 15" that was similar to OPs for 1400 to a friend, so probably couldve done 1500 to someone else. Really, just take off 300-400 from how much you paid for every year youve owned it.
