I had good success with the "weird findings in the woods thread", so we will give this a shot. Its got me dying of laughter. From grasscity.com forums... "how to tell when you are just too high"

"The other day I smoked a lovely lovely absolutely beaut of a joint. My belly began to rumble so I figure that I need a sandwich No biggy. I decide to make the ultimate Peanutbutter and jelly toasted sandwich. I begin. i GRAB THE pb and J put it on the chopping board and grab some bread and put it in the toaster. So I wait there for like 40 minutes just thinking about random shit. So I starts to think WTF wheres my sandwich I look at the toaster intensely for around 3 minutes before realising that the Bread was Rice cakes and the toaster was my microwave. DAAAAM I WAS HIGH. "

"Well once, I had smoked a few bowls in a wooded area and was completely gone. I went on a walk somewhere and it was kind of late at night, and in a usually crowded place during the day no one was out. I got really paranoid, like I thought I had lost track of time and there were new curfew laws or something like no one could be outside for some reason, so I started to run to where I was going. I see this dude on the street FINALLY and I'm like man we gotta get outta here what if they find us out here after hours??

And he was like, "what the fuck are you talking about?"

Recently, I have noted the effects of indica dominant strains vs. sativas. I usually smoked a lot of sativa bud, with the occasional indica here and there. Now that I have been going to college indicas are what you tend to get. The different effects are very obvious.

Last week I had tests so I studied no smoking at all through the week cause I am trying to pick up my grades. Friday comes around and I pick up and eighth of some Williams Wonder. A hybrid strain primarily indica. First we start of smoking bong bowls, then my friend comes in with his vape so we chill in his room and vape bowls until everyone is laying on the floor or a bed (key charecteristic of an indica. Makes you lazy as fuck.) From then on I vaguely  remember what happened. All I remember I was outside some where and there were deer and I ran at them, after that its blank. I am not even sure how I found my way back to my room.

If I am really stoned on a sativa my mind tends to have racing thoughts, I don't get that heavy indica sedated feeling and it get a little trippy like a mild shroom trip if I smoke enough. I enjoy both strains although there are definitely times when I would rather have a sativa than an indica, visa versa.

when you get visuals from weed.

When I get "too high" sometimes I'll get that weird pattern sensation where everything seems like a dream if you know what I am referring to.  However I haven't had that in a long while. More frequently I'll often get close eyed visuals of cartoon characters like popeye or weird 90's shit and funky 80's patterns that somehow "make sense" in my mind but when I really think about them they are just weird overlays of shapes and designs.

The only time I have ever actually gotten an open-eyed visual off of weed was when I had smoked with a friend late one night and we were walking home towards my house (I live just a few blocks away from him) and when we pass by his house we look at this stained glass window above his garage and I watch it morph into an extemely detailed and vivid photograph of a panda sitting on it's ass munching some bamboo. I mean this was like I was staring directly into a zoo exhibit it was so vivid. When I pointed it out to my friend he claimed to see it too but to this day I still don't really know if he had really seen exactly what i was experiencing at the time.

I'm gonna go smoke a few bowls with the same friend tonight so I'll ask him about it too now that its on my mind.

this is literally what I was seeing when looking at this window that in a sober mind resembles nothing of a panda bear or any other animal for that matter.

Anyone else experience anything similar? weird for sure.

Its those sativa strains man. They are killer. I fucking sat down took dabs of headband then smoked 2 grams high fucking grade fire bud. I then spent an hour sitting locking in a gaze looking in the distance. Everything looked very dreamy with a crazy ass coloring to the whole room. I saw flashing fluorescent patterns inter woven into the ceiling floating in the air. I was baked as fuck. Most my memory after that if very patchy.

Sometimes when ive smoked a few too many marijuanas, ill go to close my eyes and instantly start having incredibly vivid dreams that i cant stop unless i open my eyes. And only once have i gotten visuals. I was watching tv at a friends house and only in my right eye did i start see random specs of colors moving around in my vision.

where to start.

so freshman year in college smoked a roach blunt, sat in this girls room for a couple hours and just starred at the wall. didnt say a word. thought my heart was going to explode.

later that year smoked a joint ment for 4 people to my face,the other people were talking about dragon ball z, i was sitting in the back seat thinking i was growing body armor.

last year at my house alone after a concert, smoked and drank till real late. but i built a cool light show out of some tv a projector and my stereo. woke up to my roommates girl friend checking my pluse. i guess i passed out under the kitchen table.

In class (college), I know I'm too high when I just fumble around getting everything together then contemplate whether I'm making too much noise. Then realize, whatever, people will just think I'm weird and that's cool because people are sometimes just weird..

Then I realize I've been ignoring the math lesson!!

You can get TOOOOO HIGH on other drugs than weed.

Well it can be a challenge to calculate weather they are indica or sativa dominant just by looking or smelling the nug. if there is purple on your bud its likely indica dominant.  Indicas tend to have a more skunky smell and Sativas have a lighter, citrus, piney (but both sativa and indica buds can exhibit the same kind of smells, and looks). In general it is hard to tell what the strain is by just looking at the nug. If you see the plant the bud grew on you can tell what the the species is by what the leaves of the plant look like. Fatter leaves are Indica. Thin leaves are sativa.

I know i'm high when I'm in Maine and I'm walking away from the shack me and my buds smoke at and looking up into the air an see fucking monkeys in every single tree branch above me head. I start to freak out and I can see them jumping between the branches plotting their monkey murders. But then my friend (The_Snarf) tells me i'm in the middle of a field with no tree in like 200 feet of me...

The other day me and my cousin vaped 2 bowls the smoked about 9 (I hadn't smoke for about 2 weeks before this) anyway I forgot how to use the stairs and ended up sleeping on my basement floor.

Shit me and my friends tried using an alternative to hookah coals so we looked it up and found little pieces of wood and sticks that have been in a fire work te best. Anyways, we go outside. There's like 5 feet of snow at my house but we managed to find sticks and shit. We go back inside, put them on a cookie sheet and put them in the oven. TL:DR I got really fucking sconed with my friends and put pieces of wood in the oven.

This didnt happen to me but my friend, we were all pretty baked and he just decided he wanted to sleep, so he lay down on my couch and possed out. About 5 minutes my others friends and I started freaking out because we didnt know where he was since he stopped talking. Then we found him and woke him up and he got pissed and moved to another couch. This happened 3 more times, him falling asleep, us forgeting where he went, finding him, waking him up, then him moving.

basically, was really really high in a hero burger, their menu is really confusing because it's huge and I couldn't read it in my state, so after continuously asking for a "normal burger", of course the guy could tell I wasn't fully there, so was smirking and trying to get me to choose something off the menu, by this point I was tripping balls and thought he was the police and this was some sort of drug test and he would know I was high if I couldn't order something, so trying to look casual, i grabbed the back of my neck, then after standing there for a few minutes II freaked the fuck out and started sobbing quietly in front of the counter till my friends dragged me out.
