Op is really not that far off...that's what they did in the last depression. build dams, put people to work, make previously unarable land useful. boom recession/depression solved

I'm sitting in the middle of the worst drought. Whereas other parts of the midwest are still getting small amounts of rain. Delavan, Wisconsin has had zero rain for 3 months. It disapates before it gets here or it goes north or south of here. just five minutes from the Delavan they're getting rain, but not here ever.

What if building "canals" fixes the sustainability problem? What if there are already solutions and we can't set said solutions forth because all of our money is going towards really really big fireworks.
