Guessing off two weak reasons that he will have at least a solid part too because

1 they (L1) list the skiers towards the beginning that have more shots and the skiers that have less towards the end (as posted in op)

2. They were selling Pollard's skis at their store

agreed. fucking jam of a song. the entire soundtrack on that movie was top notch. al green during hornbeck had me 'gasming... then there was coldest zone.. fuckin jam and a half
