Im interested in the saga OG logo jacket or the jibberish ignant vest. I am an east coast skier and only have funds to buy one or the other. Which do you think would be more suitable to the cold, sometimes wet east coast? And if it were the vest, what do you guys wear underneath it? +K to help
you're right, I worded it wrong. I doubt any of these choices are good for op due to what he wants, but at least the saga will cover him whole upper body. vests are really only for looks, not purpose.
you would need to buy a sweatshirt to go under the vest (unless you already have one of course). But i have an ignant as well and it keeps me warm really well surprisingly but it is not water proof in the least bit so i only wear it on the days when it is not freezing cold or snowing. For the days when they do blow snow/its snowing/its freezing, I have a saga anomie jacket. So if you dont have another jacket for when its cold out, go with the saga.
What kind of sweatshirt do you wear underneath your ignant? I have plenty of hoodies and a few heavy sweaters. I also usually wear under armour cold gear (for warmth) any time I ski.
i also wear cold gear ever time. I cant remember if i wear this under armor crew neck fleece i have as well or not. But i dont think it would make much of a difference if i did or not, its relatively light. But yeah, i wear under armor, then possible that light fleece, then i wear a saga yacht club hoodie (which is a summer hoodie so its not too heavy) and then my ignant. It works out pretty well on the 40 degree-ish days.
