Pretty easy concept to understand,
Post what happened to you on Friday the 13th or previous Friday the 13ths. Any stories are good.

I'll start.
Relatively un-eventful, spent the day traveling. At first the car wouldn't start. Took about 30 min to get it going. Once out of the neighborhood. Got hit by a nasty back up in traffic, what should've taken 20 minutes took 2 hours. We sped over one mountain pass in nice weather. But the second pass we went over was nasty. A horrible lighting storm with possibly the worst rain I've ever been in. Many cars were pulled over on the side of the road in dense forest areas. Kinda seemed like it came out of a movie. But we got through it and made it to where we needed to go so, not very eventful.

was hanging out with my girlfriend, Kasey and 3 of her friends Maddie, Maddy, and kenzie, at a park at 11:00. we were sitting on this big tire thing and kenzie slowly walked away and hid inside a huge tire thing like 10 ft sway without kasey noticing. Then we said "lets go look for her" as we were walking around this pumphouse thing maddie, maddy, and I stealthfully snuck off. They hid in the tires too, and i climbed a tree. Kasey was freaking the fuck out and right then a cop pulls up cause he could see me in the tree from the street. Kasey gets scared, runs away. I jump out of the tree and run. Then when the cop starts searching the park Maddy, Maddie and Kenzie jump out at the cop thinking its Kasey and everyone gets a good talking too + we were past curfew (10:00)
tl;dr: I spent time typing a perfectly good post, read it, bitch.

Nothing weird happened yesterday, but I learned this fact.
This year, there are 3 Friday the 13ths, each 13 weeks apart, and the next time this will happen is 666 years from now. Little freaky.

Yesterday a young boy in my town was hit by a dump truck and died. One of my best friends saw it and just hearing him talk about it was one of the most fucked up experiences I've ever had. In a further more bizarre twist there was a high speed chase that ended in te perpetraitor going clean through a telephone pull directly in front of my house.. We had no power and the road was blocked from both ways right in front of my house for about six hours while they put in a hole new pole. I can honestly say I don't think I'll ever forget this Friday the 13.

a popular thing to do in the summer where i live is float down the channel that runs through the middle of the city, and there is bridges that come across at one point, so there are some pillars in the middle of the channel to hold the bridge up. well i was with 3 of my friends and all our floaties, and we all tied our floaties together like everyone else does. we did not realize we were coming up to the bridge, and we were right infront of the pillar, and half of us went on one side of the pillar, and the other 2 were on the other side, of course we are connected my ropes so we are stucks ( it is a strong current) so we fall off and try to swim to the side of the channel but its so strong, our floaties are still attached tot eh pillar, somone called the cops cause they thought one of us was drowning.. and my friend working on the side of the channel said it was super funny. really awkward...
