So I was working my shift scooping ice cream (Pitiful summer job, I know) and this guy came up and ordered something. (he's looks to be about 25) He then asked me about the song I was playing through the ipod speaker in my little window thing. It was the song from P-Whites segment in After dark this year. (Dead end Street i think?). I said I saw it in a ski movie. Here's how the conversation went:
Customer: Hey where'd you find that song?
Me: I heard it in a ski movie
Customer: Oh really? I was in a couple ski movies a while ago
Me: Wait, what?
Customer: Yeah I was in The Poor Boyz films Propaganda and Good Times
Me: Really? That's so sick! Are you still skiing?
Customer: No, I'm out here sailing now cause I completely trashed my legs in an accident a while back. I was training for X games with my friend Simon Dumont and I bailed on a jump and broke a leg and tore both of my ACL/MCL's.
Me: Oh man that sucks.
Customer: Yeah but whatever, but if you get the chance to see Good Times, I was the first guy to to a switch 270 onto a rail in it.
Me: Sweet dude I'll definitely look for that
We kept talking for a while and he said he ran Sunday River for a while and he's still friends with Simon and some other PBP guys. He seemed really legit and it looked like he wasn't lying. But here's my question: Who was the first guy to switch 2 on in Good Times? He told me his name but I completely forgot it. Fuck. But anyway, thanks!
