After someone dies we give them their last respects by trying to give them the funeral they would have wanted. Some of us will die way too young, and we will never get the funeral we actually wanted. Why? It's something that's rarely discussed up until death seems inevitable for a person. This is the thread were you lay it all on the line and tell us what you want from A-Z; burial site, what kind of a funeral service, cremation or casket.
After I die, please have me cremated. Make it a nice big bonfire. I've often found myself pondering waking up in the casket. Freaky shit. The urn? Whatever my current ski boot is. The left one preferably. Save a few ashes though, would like to be spread out of the families 172 over the homeland. Bury the boot urn at either of my grandparents gravesites. I don't want a service, I've always found them super depressing. Jump straight to the post funeral get together or whatever it is, and make it one banger party, live DJ playing a bunch of house, EDM, dubstep, all that good stuff. Open bar. Having a sick party thrown in my name would be pretty awesome. Through the whole thing, no religious stuff, keep that out. Do all this, and I'll be the happiest dead person alive.
Yeah it is a ridiculous thread but I know a few people who have gone just too damn soon, and wondered if what they got was really what they wanted. Hope we never need to look back at this thread for anyone. Now GO!
