Alright, shipping off to college in a month or so..

I've got the basics, you know sheets, alarm clock, lamps, all that jazz.


But where's the fucking unique and cool shit? What did you guys do to make your dorm room dope?

I hate that shit when people wreck random shit for no reason. I saw this vid where this group of drunk guys completely trashed a random parked car breaking windows stomping on the roof and hood of the car denting it to shit. Thanks for the heads up though foshow don't want it wrecked by some douchebags. The bike is hella compact if I take the wheels off so I may be able to store it in my dorm if I have the space. As for the bong I have parents that don't want me smoking and they have never found or smelled my bong. As long as you wrap it up the smell doesn't go far. There is also the solution of regularly cleaning it if the smell becomes and issue.

Its the smoke that causes the problem, not the smell of the bong. You can sploof it all you want, but there is still gonna be a lingering smell of weed/smoke in your room that inevitably will go into your dorm hallway.
As for the bike, you're gonna get sick of having to take the wheel off everyday if you ride it. I'd suggest seeing if you can keep it inside in a closet they have in your building. Keeping wheels in your dorm room is gonna be a nuisance overtime.

Sparknotes: Don't smoke that thing inside if you are intent on bringing it. And hide your bike like fuckkkk

in addition to our wilderness theme (fireplace) we had 2 old xc skis crossed over our coutch.  I highley recoment crossing some skis or swords or something give a super nice vibe, also ski shot without question, and a ski chair both great conversation starters and fun to use,

in addition to what i previously said

lawn activities :ladder golf, kan jam, bean bags, frisbee...you get the idea

speakers with some nice base

Hahaha I know better than that. Boxing dorms seems like such a bad idea. But smoking in the dorm can be pulled off if you take the right precautions. My friend who was visiting a college was staying in this dorm smoking bowls. Little did they know smoke was being pumped into the hall way from the ventilation so the dorm looked somewhat fine but the hall smelled strongly of pot and was hazy of the smoke. Eventually security came and told him he could never come back on campus again the took his bong and weed from him. This kid ALL WAYS fails so hard at hiding his shit its to damn funny. What are the consequences of being caught with paraphernalia in your dorm or on campus for students? Is it a warning first time or do you get written up? whats the deal? Ill definitely check out and see if I can keep my bike somewhere indoors. Thanks for the advice and looking out for my stuff.

Basically the RA says it smells like weed and contacts the police. The police come and say, either we search your room, or we go and get the coordinator and then search your room. Then you get charged with possession and get written up.
You have to deal with the housing people then and have to do community service or other shit, in addition to then having to deal with the charges that the police will put on you.

It is a shit show. Happened on my floor multiple times.

things that screw into the wall for your skis/bike/kayak/wetsuit/jacket whatever other shit you have. space is it a premium in a dorm room - use the wall space. also bong/ fake id/ bean bag chair/ mattress topper

Buy a grinder. and bongs, lots of bongs. Remember to always leave your heat on if your going to smoke in your room, with the windows open. The heat gets sucked out of the room along with the smell out of the windows, and it will decrease your chances of getting fucked by the Ra's and cops.

They'd always pull up outside of our building and come in and check our hallway.

And I just got a bunch of ski posters from Level 1. Another nice way of getting posters is from ski premeires that come on campus. Got some nice Red Bull ones from that

fake no heat or flame but had a huge wooden mantel with shelvs and a metel grate, which covered fake wood and a hidden orange light bulb and noise (fire sound) maker.  Found it on Craigslist for 100 bucks people originally bought it from sears for a bunch more.

But damn did it look/sound near real though- and set one hell of a mood for every thing from parties, to movies, to chicks

I knew a kid down the hall back in college who had window access to the roof, and he put one of those inflatable hot tubs out there and ran an extension cord to it... it was a small one though, you could fit two people in it uncomfortably

if you live at school for 4 years and haven't once partied in the dorms, your degree should be deemed useless.

I'm not saying it's a great time, nor that you should do it daily...but you have to experience a dorm party at least once. It's a college baptism, like going to that shitty bar downtown that everyone always goes to. Every college has one, no one knows why students go there, and yet everyone does it at least once.

Nothing like 20 kids trying to drink in a room built for 2.


I'm sure more than a few of you moving in this week have realized my word was true...less is best. You acquire a lot of random shit quickly.

Apparently a kid in the hall was abiding by the "You can only have a pet if it can live 24 hours submerged in water" rule. So he bought a gold fish and put it in a giant kiddie pool in his room that he actually used for "swimming in". Now we can only have fish tanks that are 40 gallons or less- oh darn.

I brought like everything mentioned on this list minus one. I have been super shitty pretty much every night and I have 8ams every morning. Anyway you need an alarm clock. I slept through my iPhone one the past two fridays and Im probably failing calc. because of that.

The most important is a super annoying alarm clock that will wake you the fuck up.
