either stop being a baby and learn to do tricks at speed, the way they should be done. or put your skirt on and add more space between drop in and box.

OP said they can't make it any longer, so I assumed that was due to space issues, and judging by the speed they're going at if it's 8 feet they're probably only on the rail for a fraction of a second, not enough time for anything.

Don't use as much water so you don't go as fast? I don't know? Were you even thinking when you made the box 8 feet knowing you had a 10 foot drop.

a few ideas if you haven't tried them already: don't wet the drop in

move the box farther from the jump

go from lower on the drop in if it's wide enough

Why is everyone saying lower the drop to slow down? Drop-in should be 30 feet tall minimum.

if your wear several xxxxxxxxxxl tall tees they should create enough wind resistance to slow you down to be able to hit the box with perfect speed

sprinkle loose gravel on the transition.

rubbing a glue stick on the box helps too. It slows you down, but you can still slide well on it

Put a stair or something to side of the dropin to slide a little down and hold onto it before going. That way you will have less speed.

rub KY jelly on your skis and rub creamcheese on the dropin. you may not believe me, but this catalyzes a chemical reaction that will create a more sticky dropin and slow you down just enough to hit the box.
