Doubt this is the best place to make a thread, but who knows maybe someone has some good spots.
Just picked up a sailboat and plan on taking it out on the ocean so I'm looking for some free boat ramps to unload and be able to park my trailer while I'm out. Mostly looking in MA/Cape cod. Thanks

Most of the harbors in the South Shore have free access boat ramps, like Hingham harbor, Scituate harbor, Cohasset harbor (I think) and etc. Just pick an area where you want to put in, and see if the surrounding towns have harbors where you can unload. Only issue is usually parking, becuase before we had a mooring, if we wanted to use our boat, we had to get there early because the lots filled up real fast.

Probably already know this, but you'll be looking for harbors and rivers with them, as straight to ocean ramps dont exist to the best of my knowledge. Trying to put a boat into waves would be a nightmare!

yeah, honestly I figured that but don't really know much about boating on the ocean. I was thinking maybe somewhere on the Bay side of cape cod would have some places, but I'm really not even sure. I'll figure something out

i saw the boat you got in the latest purchases thread, looks sweet! I'd probably keep it to realllly calm days, sheltered areas (like inside the bay) or lakes, not sure how it could handle 2+" swells
