They are lucky as hell. I saw this one video inside of this bus where the driver got impaled by a metal pipe from the oncoming lane it was fucked.

You know, actually now that I think about it, I bet the crashes there are not terribly different than here. They just have dash cams that record it all so it seems more brutal actually seeing the accidents.

Having a dash cam In Russia lowers your insurance (some even insurance companies now demand it even.)

You can buy a cheap good chinese car camera for around 70 bucks.
They plug in the cigarette lighter, and when you power on the car the camera starts recording, when you power off it stops. You just put in a big SD card and it starts making loops of 5,10,15 minutes, when the card is full it erases the oldest loop.
They are always recording, that's the point.


When a crash happens you just grab the file from the card.

I have one but so far nothing exiting has happened.

Also do mind that in Russia car crashes happen a lot more frequently.

I've had a Dashcam + reversecam for years in my Range Rover and I never see anything worth posting.

But then again I barely leave the gated community I live in for fear of getting robed.
